Spring, Summer & Fall
Activity / Rental Overview

if you ask a local how they came to live in Breck, you will hear them say "I came for the skiing - but stayed for the summers".

...and that is how it is.  It is hard to beat a summer vacation in Breckenridge.  The town is small and fun to explore (dining, arts, etc...).  Throw in the kids activities and all the surrounding nature - and there is something for everybody!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Peak 8 Fun Park:  Frankly, we have never been there - but they have a lot to do!  Check it out on their website...  http://www.breckenridge.com/peak-8-fun-park.aspx

Bike rentals:  If there is one activity EVERYBODY can agree on.  It is a 9 mile bike ride to Frisco and Lake Dillon.  It is a gentle ride down - ALL THE WAY - to Frisco.  Once there, enjoy a bite to eat at the Marina - or rent a canoe or Kayak.  IMPORTANT TIP:  Put the bike on the front of the public transportation bus and ride the bus back to Breck - that is - unless you want a good workout!

Rafting:  Carvers (or just about any rental shop in town) can book rafting trips for you.  They pick up and drop off at their store (right down the hill on Main St.)  and provide an excellent experience for you and your family.

Fly Fishing:  Carvers can also hook you up with Blue River Anglers in Frisco.  You should be aware, however, this endeavor is not inexpensive.  If you have a figure in mind of what it will cost - double or triple that number so you are prepared :-).  However, if you are ready to go for it - Blue River Anglers is THE way to go...
