Two great townhomes to choose from..
So, which is better for you? TH#4 or TH#1?
So, which is better for you? TH#4 or TH#1?
Basically, our 2 townhome properties are very similar. The floor layouts are the same - just reversed. Given the fact that this is a unique small 4 unit complex (picture immediately below) each unit commands similar views. The major differences are the decks and proximity to Wellington Street. Townhome #4 has a much larger deck - great for entertaining. However, it is closer to Wellington, where traffic will be more noticeable. In the Winter, I do not notice the traffic. In the summer, this may be different since their won't be snow on the road - or ground to absorb any sound. Below are picture and more details...
Note: This first picture shows the "The carriage is on French St.. it runs North to South.

Townhome #4
Deck: Large wrap around. Very similar view as #1. However, on the left is Wellington Rd. - so traffic will be more of an issue than in #1.
Kitchen: New appliances. Granite coming spring 2014. Current dish washer is loud and will be changed out when when the granite goes in.
Hearth / View: Hearth is very nice, just not over the top like the one in #1. Great view from either window.
Lighting: The patio door / window have e southern (bright) exposure. Therefore, this unit will have more natural light.
Dining: A proper 8 top (note: we find benches would be better than having 8 individual chairs... (a less cluttered look).

Townhome #1
Deck: Great view - but significantly smaller than #4. The road below gets very little traffic and is far from Wellintgon so it is a more quite unit.
Kitchen: Completely remodeled, including the granite.
Hearth / View: Lovely stacked stone fireplace. The view is the same as #4. However, not as in your face due to the hot tub and door - instead of window.
Lighting: It is nice that this is an end unit allowing for this extra window. However, it is North facing - so no direct sunlight comes through this window.
Dining: Six top - though you can fit 8 by pulling in a bench from the entry.
Fit and finish: TH#1 nudges out #4 when it comes to fit and finish of woodwork, railings, etc...
